Walking through the ancient “sternìe”, between the steep cobblestone alleys that twist and turn into colorful houses from which you can glimpse the endless chains of Asti hills, you will have the feeling of being ended in a painting. A chat with the people of Montegrosso d’Asti is enough to discover that it is really so! From anywhere if you look up towards the uptown, you can see the Castle and the adjoining Parish Church of Saints Second and Matthew, with its octagonal dome. With the Parish of the 20th century we reach the architectural core of the town, arriving to the majestic medieval castle. We immediately notice the suggestive tower, and the Hotel and Restaurant Borgo Vecchio.
